Ingredients

1 cup butter 1 cup water 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups white sugar 2 eggs 1/2 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon almond extract 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda Cream Cheese Frosting 8 ounces cream cheese 1/4 cup butter, softened 3 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place butter and water in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, almond extract, salt, and baking soda. Mix until completely smooth. Pour batter into a greased 10x15x1" baking pan (I just used a cookie sheet). Bake for 20-22 minutes or until cake is golden brown. Let cool for 20-30 minutes. Top with your favorite frosting. I recommend our Cream Cheese Frosting - For the frosting cream the butter, cream cheese, and vanilla together. Then add the powdered sugar. Add more or less powdered sugar depending on how thick you want your frosting to be. And add sprinkles if you so desire! Makes 24-28 servings (depending on how large you cut the pieces).
