*** If cookie dough is especially crumbly/dry, add softened butter (or Crisco if no butter)

1 tsp soft butter 1.5 cups powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 6 tsps milk

Cut butter and powdered sugar together. Add vanilla and milk. Mix. Add more milk until you have the right consistency. This amount will frost 1/3 to 1/2 the cookies.
