Ingredients

250g chopped dates 2 tablespoon chopped walnuts 1 cup water 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoon butter 2 cups self-raising flour 1 cup or 200g Natvia 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

Pre heat oven to 165 degrees. Place muffin cases in a muffin pan. Place dates into water and bring to boil. Add bicarbonate of soda and butter and stir. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl and add the walnuts, Natvia and egg, then mix in the date mixture. Fill each muffin case to 2/3 full and bake for 15-18 minutes. Cool and serve.
