Ingredients
Crust:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup powder sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup York mint patties, pieces
Filling:
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. peppermint Schnapps
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Topping:
1 (8 oz.) cool whip
3 drops red food coloring
Instructions
Crust: Beat flour, margarine, butter, sugar and salt together.
Pour 2/3 of batter in a 13 x 9 2 inch baking pan. Place pieces of mints over the batter. Pour rest of the batter over the mints.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Cool completely.
Filling: Beat cream cheese, vanilla, peppermint schnapps and chocolate chips.
Spread over the crust.
Topping: Mix cool whip and red food coloring.
Spread over the filling layer.
Decorate.
