Caramel Flan (Kesiyo) by MariselaDip

Ingredients

1 cup granulated sugar 4 tbsps. Water 5 eggs 2 cans evaporated milk 1 can condensed milk 1 tbsp. vanilla essence

Instructions

• Heat sugar with water in a heavy pan and stir until sugar dissolves • Boil without stirring until it turns golden brown • Pour caramel into baking dish • In a large bowl whisk remaining ingredients • Pour mixture over the caramel in the baking dish and place baking dish in a water bath (bain-marie) • Bake in preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 1 hour • Remove, let cool thoroughly and then unmold. Serve chilled.
