1 box yellow cake mix (mix according to directions on box) 1/4 c maple syrup 1/4 c bacon pieces frosting: 1 stick butter softened 2 T milk 1 t. vanilla 1/4 c maple syrup 5 c. powdered sugar Garnish: bacon pieces

Heat oven to 350 Make cake mix according to box directions but add 1/4 c maple syrup and the 1/4 c. bacon pieces. Spoon into cupcake liners and back til golden Cool on wire rack Frosting: Beat butter until soft Add milk, vanilla and maple syrup. Beat. Add powdered sugar one cup at a time beating in between cups. Pipe frosting onto cake and garnish with a piece of bacon.
