1 3/4 cup flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 lb chocolate kisses

Mix & sift flour, baking soda, salt. Cream butter & peanut butter. Add sugars gradually and cream until fluffy. Add egg & vanilla and mix well. Add dry ingredients gradually and mix. Using a rounded tsp of dough shape into balls and roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove from oven, press candy kiss on each cookie & press down firmly so cookie cracks around edges. Return to oven and bake 2 to 3 minutes longer.
