Mushrooms with Butter-wine Sauce from Kira's Recipes

Notes

Ro-tel has discontinued their Italian canned tomatos, and I haven't found a suitable replacement.

Ingredients

2 tbsp Butter 1 can Ro-Tel Italian 1 large can mushrooms, drained pinot grigio wine, 1/2 cup corn starch - 2 teaspoons parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup

Instructions

Pour can of mushrooms into sautee pan. Add butter; sautee on med-low until butter melts. Add wine; stir. Add corn starch; stir until sauce thickens. Add ro-tel; reduce heat to low and simmer until pasta is ready.

Serve over linguine; add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese on top.

Makes 4 1/2 cup servings.
