Hot Sausage and Mushroom Dip from Jgregor2's Recipes

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

1 lb. bulk hot pork or Italian sausage 1 tbls. cooking oil 8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms (3cups) 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper 8 oz. cream cheese,softened 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sause Assorted crackers or corn chips

Instructions

In a 12-inch skillet, brown sausage. Remove sausage and drain well and remove drippings from the skillet. In the same skillet, heat oil;cook mushrooms, onion, and red pepper until tender. Stir together cream cheese and Worcestershire sauce, and stir into vegetable mixture. Add cooked sausage. Heat and stir until cheese is melted. Transfer to chafing dish and serve with assorted crackers.
