Fried Cabbage with Sausage from Jenesius's Recipes

Ingredients

4 slices of bacon 1/2 to 1 sausage (I use polish keilbasa) olive oil onion green bell pepper red bell pepper cabbage salt & pepper to taste 3 tsp soy sauce 3 tsp white vinegar

Instructions

Slice bacon in small strips (perpendicular to the bacon slice, so 3/16 x 1 1/4 inch strips). Cut sausage in 1/4 inch slices. Slice onions, bell peppers, and cabbage in thin slices (1/4 inch). Preheat skillet to medium high heat. Then add olive oil. Fry bacon, then add sausage. Remove bacon and sausage from pan and set aside. Add onion to pan. Cook for a few minutes, then add bell peppers and season with salt and pepper. Cook for several minutes. Add cabbage, soy sauce, and white vinegar and stir. After a few minutes, cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes and serve.
