Ingredients
1 T. olive oil
1/3 cup thinly sliced red onion
8 oz. fresh strawberries, quartered
1/2 cup pinot grigio
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. Sriracha
1 Camembert or Brie cheese round
2 tsp. finely chopped fresh chives
1/8 tsp. salt
1 baguette, thinly sliced and toasted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add onion and cook, stirring often, until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add strawberries and cook until tender and soft, about 4 to 6 minutes. Add the wine, honey, Sriracha and cook, stirring often, until thickened, about 8 to 10 minutes.
2. Place the cheese on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake in preheated oven until warm, 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Place the warm cheese on a serving platter, top with the warm strawberry sauce. Sprinkle with chives and salt and serve with toasted baguettes.
