Crockpot Beer Braised Smoked Sausages & Onions from Gweneris's Recipes

Ingredients

12 smoked sausages with cheese 3 tbps butter melted 1 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp brown mustard 3 large onions, sliced into rings 1 tsp caraway seeds 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 tsp black pepper 1 can beer 12 hoagie rolls, split Mustard & sliced cheese

Instructions

Brown sausages in skillet over medium high heat for 10 minutes, browning all sides. Spray cooker with nonstick spray. Add butter, brown sugar, mustard, onions, caraway, salt and pepper. Place sausages on top and pour beer over sausages. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Serve on rolls with onions, mustard and cheese.
