This is the cake we always asked for when we wanted chocolate birthday cake as kids.

Ingredients 2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 2 teaspoons baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup mayonnaise (real mayo, not salad dressing) 4 tablespoons vanilla 1 cup hot water

Instructions Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, add dry ingredients and stir With Mixer( or spoon)mix in Mayo, vanilla and water Beat until smooth Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9 inch pan. Bake 30-35 min. Do the toothpick test, inserting it into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean, it's done!
