Ingredients
1 c sugar
5 T flour
1/2 t salt
4 T cocoa powder

3 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c milk
1 t vanilla
2 T butter
1 deep dish pie shell, baked
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients well. Beat egg yolks, lightly and add milk. Add slowly to dry ingredients. Cook over moderate heat until thick. Add vanilla and butter. Let cool for 10 minutes. Put in baked pie shell. Prepare meringue and brown.
