1 c butter 1 c peanut butter 1 c sugar 1 c firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 t vanilla ~~~~~~ 2 1/2 c flour 1 t baking powder 1 t baking soda 1 t salt ~~~~~~ 1 pkg hershey kisses (or jam) sugar

Beat first 6 inedients until fluffy. At low speed beat in next 4 ingredients. Shape into 1" balls; roll in sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until browned. Immediately press hershey kiss into the cneter of each cookie (or make thumb print and fill with jam). Cool.
