Ingredients
4 qts apples, quartered, cored
1 c cider
5 c sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t allspice
1/4 t ground cloves
Instructions
Cook apples in 3 c water until soft. Put through food mill. Add other ingredients and cook in slow oven for 6 hrs, stirring every 30 minutes. Seal in hot sterilized glasses.
