1 1/2 c. Dr. Pepper Soda 1/2 c. oil 1 stick butter 4 T. cocoa powder 1 1/4 c. sugar 2 c flour 1 t. baking soda 2 eggs 1/2 c buttermilk Glaze: 4 T butter 2 T cocoa powder 2 T milk 2 c powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350 Grease 9x13 pan Mix soda, oil, butter and cocoa in saucepan over medium heat. Simmer, mix well and remove from heat. Add sugar, flour and baking soda in separate bowl mix eggs and buttermilk, add small amount of hot batter to egg mix ( a couple tablespoons) and mix well. Then add the egg mixture to the batter and mix well. Pour into greased pan and bake 25 minutes. Glaze: Melt butter, cocoa and milk. Whisk in sugar 1/2 c at a time. Pour over warm cake.
