Ingredients
5 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
2/3c butter
1 3/4c sugar
1c all purpose flour
3 eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
FILLING AND TOPPINGS
1 jar marshmallow cream
1 pkg semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 c toasted pecans, coarsely chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350. For brownies place chocolate in microwave safe bowl, microwave uncovered on HIGH 1-1 1/2 min or until mostly melted stirring every 30 sec, set aside. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir about 5 min or until butter turns a deep amber color and brown bits form at bottom of saucepan. Remove from heat; pour melted butter into mixing bowl. Immediately add melted chocolate, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla and salt; stir until well blended. Spoon batter into ungreased rectangle baking pan and spread evenly.
2. Bake 18-22 min or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven, immediately spoon marshmallow cream over brownies, spreading evenly. Cool slightly. Cover loosely with foil and refrigerate until cold, about 1hr.
3. For chocolate topping, place morsels in microwave safe bowl, uncovered, on HIGH 1-1 1/2 min or until mostly melted stirring every 30 sec. Drizzle over marshmallow filling and spread. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Refrigerate until chocolate is set, about 30 min. Cut into bars while cold.
