Notes
If the chicken is too sticky, add some a little hot water and stir before serving
Ingredients
Chicken:
1-1/2 lbs chicken breast, raw, cubed
3/4 cup cornstarch
2 tbsps oil
Sauce:
8 tbsps honey
5 tbsps ketchup
4 tbsps sugar
3 tbsps white vinegar
4 tbsps soy sauce
1/4 tsp sea salt
1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
3 tbsps corn starch mixed with 2 tbsps water
Instructions
In a bowl, mix cubed chicken with the 3/4 cup corn starch, coat thoroughly.
Heat a skillet with the oil and pan fry chicken until slightly golden brown but not fully cooked (about 3-5 minutes).
In a large bowl, mix sauce ingredients, and heat sauce in a sauce pan until it just bubbles.
Once chicken is done being pan fried, place it in a baking dish and pour the sauce over it.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
Garnish chicken with toasted sesame seeds and scallions/green onion
