Large eggs Cold water

Instructions

Cover bottom of a sauce pot with eggs. Carefully cover the eggs with cold water by 1 inch. Over medium heat, bring water to a gentle simmer( not a boil). Set timer for 16 minutes. When done, remove eggs to a bowl of ice and water. Chill for at least 5 minutes.
