Overnight salad from Ed's Recipes

Ingredients

Layer in a large bowl 1 medium head of lettuce shredded 1 cup of diced celery 1/2 cup onion sliced thin 1-8 oz. can of sliced water chestnuts drained 1-10 oz. pkg of frozen peas Spread 2 cups of mayonnaise 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

Layer in a large bowl in the following order Lettuce Celery Onion Water chestnuts Peas. Mix the remaining ingredients and spread on top Cover and chill for 24 hours Before serving add 3 hard boiled eggs (diced) and 1/2 lbs of cooked and crumbled bacon. Toss
