8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature 1 cup butter, room temperature 1 teaspoon vanilla 6 cups powdered sugar

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING Sift powdered sugar and set aside. Beat cream cheese and butter on high until creamy. Add vanilla. Then, add powdered sugar in batches. Scrape down the sides in between each addition. Place one cake layer onto a cake stand or large plate. Frost top with 1/3 of the frosting. Place second layer on top and frost top and all sides of cake. Serve and enjoy!
