Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
3 tbsp chopped almonds
1 banana, mashed
4-5 medjool dates, chopped
2 tbsp chia seeds
cinnamon, as desired
1-2 tsp maple syrup
almond milk
Instructions
In a tall, medium sized jar, layer ingredients in order.
Fill the jar with almond milk, leaving about 2 inches empty at the top. Shake the jar until all ingredients are mixed well. Add more almond milk as needed to achieve desired consistency. Remember, chia seeds absorb moisture, so if it’s looking a little bit liquidy, that’s a good thing.
Let the jar sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes, then refrigerate overnight.
